the Band
Rooted in Wilmington, North Carolina, Mike Blair and the Stonewalls have spent more than fifteen years crafting a sound defined by resonant vocal harmonies, interlacing guitar melodies, and heartfelt songwriting. Inspired by the rich traditions of folk, blues, country, and jazz, the band's songs bridge classic American roots music with a fresh, contemporary perspective.
More than a band, the Stonewalls are a group of longtime friends whose shared experiences and individual personalities shape every song they write and every performance they give.“Cultivating a musical texture from our personalities is what makes our sound,” says Mike Blair. “I'm interested in the response listeners have when they hear a song.”After touring extensively throughout the Southeast and Midwest, Mike Blair and the Stonewalls continue to build on their distinctive blend of influences.
